This is a reproduction of a #3 tin can. It has a soldered on top, with the hole soldered shut, known as the “hole in the top” can. It can be made sealed or with a plug type top so you can store stuff inside. Caution: The lid ring will have a very sharp edge!
It
is made to historically
correct dimensions (4 1/2” diameter X 5 ” tall).

Please specify on the order page or email me with the lid preferences, or they will be made soldered completely shut.
Historically the can was filled, then the disc with the pinhole was
soldered on, and once the food was processed, the pinhole was soldered
shut to seal the can.
I do not provide labels for the cans, but there are a few websites that
do. The link below has a great selection of labels.
